Who can use the data

We have adopted strict rules that establish which employees and departments are allowed access to your personal data and which personal data they are allowed to process. On principle, we do not provide third parties with your personal data except when we have your consent, it is necessary for providing services (domain registration, registration of certificates, etc.), the third party is storing it for us, legal regulations give us the right to do so, or in the event of our legitimate interest (for example, in the case of suppliers or requests by bodies participating in criminal proceedings, processing and evaluating traffic, etc.).

As part of data processing about website traffic and evaluating our business activities, we use files called cookies and the systems operated by the following third parties for processing collected data. However, your data are anonymous and their transfer concerns only data determined by the given systems’ tracking cookies. Nevertheless, certain providers may be located in third countries.

  • Statistics and analytics (Google Analytics)
  • Advertising (Google Adwords, Sklik, Facebook)

The period allowed for processing

According to the relevant legislation (e.g., Act 499/2004 Coll., the Act on Archiving and Records Management, Act No. 235/2004 Coll. on VAT, Act No. 563/1991 on Accounting, and others), we are required to archive documents for set time periods and follow the principles of data protection. After the set time period has passed, your personal data will be permanently deleted and erased.

Any of the personal data that we process will be processed explicitly on the basis of your consent and only up until the moment of your consent’s withdrawal in written form or via the automated tool on our website (e.g., by unsubscribing to the newsletter).

Are you unwilling or unable to provide us with your data?

You do not have to provide us with the personal data that we request. However, if this is data that you need to give us in order for us to provide you with our services, we cannot provide you with these related services.

Operational protocols

If you visit our website, our servers (the same as most websites) automatically record the requests received by our website. These server protocols generally contain information about your website request, IP address, browser data, browser language, and the request’s time and date. Further, they can also contain one or more cookies that unambiguously identify your browser. Only administrators have access to this information, and this data will never be used for direct identification (it serves to expose technical problems).

Your Rights

Your right to access the data that we process about you

You have the right to access data and other related information. However, this cannot interfere with the rights of third parties. On principle, we will transfer your data to you in electronic form as statements after demonstrable verification of your identity in order to maintain the protection of other entities’ data.

If your data is incorrect or imprecise, you have the right to request that it be corrected. With regards to the purposes for which the data are being processed, you have the right to have us fill in incomplete data.

You have the right to request that your data’s processing be restricted according to Article 18 of the GDPR.

The right to data portability (only in the case of automatic processing)

You have the right to obtain the data you have given us in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format as well as the right to transfer this data to another administrator if the processing has been conducted automatically.

The right to withdraw consent

In cases when we require your consent to process your data, you have the right to withdraw this consent at any point. Withdrawing consent does not influence how the data was processed during the time period for which you had legitimately given consent, nor on processing your data for other legal reasons, if they apply (e.g., meeting legal requirements for the purposes of legitimate interest).

Would you like to restrict marketing?

If you gave consent to marketing purposes or if commercial offers are coming to you for another authorized reason, you can withdraw your consent at any point or unsubscribe from being sent offers in the following ways:

COOKIES

WHAT ARE COOKIES?

Cookies are small data files that are used as unique identifiers in communication between an application and your web browser. A cookie file contains anonymous information. The absolute majority of websites use cookies for their activity.

Cookies might be set by the websites that you visit (“our cookies”) or might be set by an organisation that does not own the website you are browsing (“third-party cookies”). For example, they might be set by other websites that run content on the page you are browsing, or by an independent analyst. Websites might use a third-party advertising network to provide targeted advertising. These cookies might have the opportunity to monitor your browsing of different pages.

HOW WE USE COOKIES

We use cookies to improve your user experience of the website in such a way that we allow the website to identify your browser, either for the duration of your visit (using session cookies) or for repeat visits (using persistent cookies).

This makes it possible to use functions such as displaying the shopping basket, hiding commercial communications, signing in, etc.

Our website also uses behaviour advertising cookies, which allow us to adapt advertising and make sure it is relevant to you depending on the areas that you browse at our website, and the geographic location of your IP address. These cookies are placed by third-party advertising networks with our consent.

WHAT WE USE COOKIES FOR

We use the following cookies at our website:

  • Technical cookies - first party, short-term. These ensure the basic technical functioning of the website, meaning signing in, remembering settings, using services, etc.
  • Statistics and diagnostics cookies (for example, Google Analytics) - first party, long-term. These are used to generate anonymous statistics about site use.
  • First- and third-party advertising cookies. These are used for behavioural advertising according to interests. When an advertisement has to be displayed (as the main source of income for the website and the creation of its content), it is preferable for users/readers to be shown offers that they might genuinely be interested in.

HOW YOU GIVE YOUR CONSENT TO COOKIES

We need your consent to be able to use statistics cookies and diagnostics cookies. The use of advertising cookies and third-party cookies is also only possible if you agree that they be used. You give your consent using the cookies bar at the bottom of the browser, or by setting your browser in this way. Technical cookies do not require your consent, but you can use your browser settings to block them. However, the website will not work properly without technical cookies.

WE USE GOOGLE ANALYTICS

This site uses Google Analytics, a service provided by Google, Inc. ("Google"). The Google Analytics service uses cookies. Information about the use of the site and the content of the cookie will be transferred to Google and stored on servers in the USA. Google uses this information to evaluate the use of the website and create reports on its activity for us, as the site operator, and to provide other services to concern activity on the site and Internet use in general. Google may also provide this information to third parties if required by law or if such third parties process this information for Google.

The Google Analytics service is broadened to include a related advertising function provided by Google, i.e.:

  • impressions within the Google advertising network;
  • remarketing (displaying ads in the display network based on the products viewed);
  • enhanced demographic reports (reporting anonymous demographic data). More information about the processing and use of data is available at Google Terms of Service.

WE USE THE COOKIES OF OUR ADVERTISING PARTNERS

GOOGLE

Using the DoubleClick cookie, Google and its partners can display advertisements to users according to their visits to our website and other sites on the Internet. You can block the use of the DoubleClick cookie for interest-based advertising using Ads Setting Manager.

The cookies of other suppliers or third-party advertising networks might also be used when displaying ads from the Google network. You can visit the websites of those third parties and block the use of cookies for interest-based advertising there (if the supplier or advertising network provides this option).

FACEBOOK

Facebook adheres to Self-Regulatory Principles for Online Behavioural Advertising and engages in programmes which provide the opportunity to refuse this type of advertising.  You can express your non-consent to the use of cookies for all involved companies at the following websites:

SEZNAM.CZ

Seznam.cz uses cookies for the purposes of behavioural advertising. Behavioural advertising consists of displaying ads on a website depending on the behaviour of the users on the Internet (the theme of the sites they have visited), the purpose of this being to display only such ads that might actually be of interest to the specific user. Behavioural advertising works with the information stored in the cookies of web browsers. The data stored in these files are later divided into several characteristic groups (for example, motoring, female-interest websites, etc.). It should not therefore happen that an ad for ballet courses is displayed to a football fan who regularly checks match results.
